will be adapted as a romantic comedy. Let’s just hope there’s no scene built around the book’s bizarre warning that performing oral sex on a pregnant woman can create an embolism that could kill both mother and fetus. Oy!

-Here’s a feel good story about your fellow man.  A woman in Washington DC was boarding the subway and the doors closed before she could get on. The subway zoomed off with her baby! Passengers took control of the situation, took the baby off at the next stop, and the baby was reunited with mama a few moments later when the next subway arrived. (Washington Post)

-San Francisco was all set to become  the first city in the country to ban toys in Happy Meals. The bill was intended to promote healthy eating and help combat childhood obesity. But San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom is apparently gearing up to veto that ban today. (CNN)
