– Big, as-of-yet-to-be-totally-confirmed news: we have a name for the Portman-Millepied baby! If popular Israeli TV show “Good Evening with Guy Pines” (and yes, that last name is pronounced like the certain body part that we still don’t know whether this baby has had circumcised or not) is to be believed, the baby of the hour is named Alef Portman Millepied. That’s Alef, like the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. So, thoughts? Cunning remarks? Witty jokes? Let’s hear them. (Huffington Post)

People.com is reporting that the name is spelled Aleph, though we still seem to lack an official confirmation from Ms. Portman herself. And as for the public’s reaction, a few choice twitters for you:
