If you haven’t seen this video of 36-year-old Yuki Nishitzawa Tootsie rolling her way through labor pains, then you’re clearly missing out. Her husband recorded her getting her baby groove on while in the hospital, and posted the video on YouTube.
What I love the most about this, besides that she’s clearly a Superhero Dance Mom, is the fact that she’s better at dancing IN LABOR than I am normally. Even if you’re not pregnant, it’s inspiring to see someone choose to create joy out of pain–to dance through a moment of struggle. Next time I’m in pain–whether emotional or physical–you’ll see me shaking my tuchus off.
