This is the second post in our portrait series, Show & Tell, which features children ages 4-12 photographed with their favorite object.
Meet 8-year-old Oscar who loves illustrated books more than anything–this one in particular. He finds them from the shelves around his home, looking at them for hours and hours. In an age where kids can barely look up from a screen, this is extra special.

Why does he love them so much? He loves how ‘real’ all the images feel, how reading transports him into wild, new worlds. We hope he never tires of reading books.
