Hanukkah — which starts tonight, December 10 — will a little be lonely for many of us this year.
Not being able to invite family and friends over to light candles and share delicious fried foods with us can feel very disappointing, especially for children. But for a lot of us, it’s the right and safe thing to do at the moment — in fact, some might argue that helping stop the spread of Covid-19 is a way of spreading light during the pandemic.
Luckily, Kveller is here to make you feel a little less alone this Festival of Lights. (And, while we’re at it, we’ll help remind you of the Hanukkah blessings, too.) Each night of the holiday, at 6:30 PM Eastern, a family from across the country will join you and your family on Kveller Facebook for a special Hanukkah candle lighting. They will recite the blessings, wish you a happy holiday, and maybe even introduce you to some fun new holiday traditions.
So join us on Kveller Facebook every evening of this eight-night holiday, and let’s all share and spread the digital light. Chag shameach!
