The talented, beautiful, and Jewish actress Scarlett Johansson is now making headlines for not just being rich but super-rich. Yahoo! Movies reports that she is now the 10th highest grossing movie star ever.
According to the Box Office Mojo website, she is now worth $3.3 billion—and, no, that’s not adjusted for inflation. Even more impressively, ScarJo is the only woman on the list and the youngest member by a whopping 20 years.
Here are the other nine movie stars who are worth especially big bucks:
- Harrison Ford ($4.9 billion)
- Samuel L. Jackson ($4.7 billion)
- Morgan Freeman ($4.4 billion)
- Tom Hanks ($4.3 billion)
- Robert Downey Jr. ($3.9 billion)
- Eddie Murphy ($3.8 billion)
- Tom Cruise ($3.6 billion)
- Johnny Depp ($3.3 billion)
- Michael Caine ($3.3 billion)
The Guardian points out that Cameron Diaz is the next highest-grossing female movie star (in 19th place overall). ScarJo has profited largely from the Marvel universe, but that’s not all. She’s been in two box office hits this year alone—”Captain America: Civil War” and “The Jungle Book.” Scarlett Johansson isn’t slowing down, either. Upcoming films include a voice role in “Sing,” an animated comedy, and live action roles in “Ghost in the Shell” and “Rock That Body.” She’ll be starring in a film about the Marvel character Black Widow and playing Zelda Fitzgerald in a biopic, too.
Here’s the trailer for Sing, a movie from the creators of Minions and Despicable Me.
Sing is due out this Christmas.
