Sarah Silverman Finds All the Reasons to Celebrate Being Jewish

Comedian and actor Sarah Silverman is currently guest-hosting “The Daily Show,” and of course, as an unapologetically Jewish celebrity, she found a way to talk about Jewish issues.

In a delightful segment on Wednesday night’s episode, she took to the streets of New York City to find allies to the Jewish people. Or, as she said it, since “there’s been a lot of antisemitism in the news lately,” she went out looking for some “pro-semitism.” And boy, did she find it.

Here are some of the excellent Jewish things these allies (which included a big group of Belgian tourists) are fans of:

After celebrating Jewish culture and traditions, Silverman got some pretty effusive assurances from her non-Jewish interviewees of what they would do to stand up for the Jews — which ranged from hilarious and risque to charmingly sincere.
